where does plugin data go?

Hi there,

first of all: Thank you for this nice piece of software.
Installing it was easy and the templates are already great
for most normal users.

I installed the php nugget plugin to try displaying random stuff
from my database, such as quotes, pics, etc and encountered
a problem similar ones already mentioned on this board.

I simply screwed my system up but managed to get rid of the
plugin and going to back to how it was before.

But, I was wondering:
Where would that php code (or for the hmtl nugget the html code)
be stored at? I tried to find it but oviously I am blind.

The fact that a single FTP command takes 40 seconds and installing
and viewing files takes ages contributed to my writing here.

Writing and waiting for an answer sure is faster than waiting
for the FTP commands to travel all across the globe and my provider
doesn't know the problem yet. *yeeks*

Even waiting for the mail with my user actiavation code for this board seems to take ages.
Has someone pulled the plug to Japan? *wondering*

Anyway, would be nice to find out where that plugin stuff is stored at
so a problem could be solved by tweaking that code instead of erasing
and reinstalling the plugin itself.

First of all, thanks for your praise! I suppose you installed the 0.7 version of Serendipity, because in 0.8 we have eased up the plugin system so that a single malfunctioning plugin wouldn't take down the whole system (hopefully, that is .

The data is stored inside the Database, in the serendipity_config table. The key contains the plugin name and the value what is inside that plugin.
