Hello
My hosts have just installed phpsuexec and everything seems to have gone wrong.
The installation I had started to use now shows permission errors and I have tried a new install and the same thing happens.
I have done as they recommend and left chmods at 755 and thought I would ask here first before I get back to them to see if there is something you know about this and how to solve it. It could, of course, be that they have done something wrong.
Many thanks and best wishes.
John

Re: phpsuexec and installation
Hi!
Sorry, but this is mostly up to your provider to get the permissions of suExec and s9y right. The provider just needs to take care that files can be read by serendipity, and specific files (templates_c, archives, sreendipity_config_local.inc.php) are writable for Serendipity...
HTH and best regards,
Garvin
