I'm a new user of serendipity so I'm still trying to figure out some things.
I'm using the coffee cup template and would like to remove the comments link in my blog as I don't really want to use that feature. I also don't want to have the "The author does not allow comments to this entry" message to appear so not allowing comments didn't work for me. Which bit in which file should I take out so the comments won't show?
Also, I used the Import Data to import Generic RSS but the rss feeds are not what I wanted after all. How do I remove this so it won't keep generating anymore feeds as entries?

About the comments:
Just go to your admin page and select "personal settings."
Scroll down to "Default settings for new entries" and set "Allow comments to this entry" to "no."
I haven't used the coffee cup template, but I've tried four other templates and they don't add a phrase "This user does not allow comments."
