404 on feed link

Post by steven »

My rss feed seems not to exist. I have set up the feed with FeedBurner. It does not see the feed and gives an INCLUDE_ERROR on trying to subscribe.

The feed is not available at FeedBurner's site, nor when I enter it directly in a browser.

I am sure I have inadvertantly changed something. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Hi!

Hm, both http://www.stevenmuncy.com/rss.php and http://feeds.feedburner.com/stevenmuncy works for me!

Best regards,
Garvin

Perhaps it was just a server hiccup. It had been working just fine. Maybe I should quit checking everything and let Serendipity keep doing its job.

BTW, very nice program after fighting the "major competator".

;)

It might be that Feedburner only sporadically updates? Did their "FeedMedic" tell you of any errors?

Thanks for the kind word! :)

Best regards,
Garvin

I was actually getting a 404 when I typed the feed address into a new browser window. Which is what FeedBurner was reporting.

It could be my server actually was not serving the page. I probably hit their 30 minute maintenance window or other oddity.
