Left Side Plugins

Post by ChiaJesus »

Can anyone explain to this newbie why I cannot set plugins to the left side? I select the option for the plugin to be 'Left', but as soon as I click and save the option it automatically resets back to 'Right'. I'd like to take advantage of the three column configuration, such as 'CoffeeCup'.

Thanks alot...

Hi!

First, this behaviour was like you mentioned a bit misleading in the past, so in serendipity 1.1, the management of plugin sidebars has been changed to a more visual "drag and drop" look.

To achieve what you want you need to check the checkbox next to the plugin where you want to change the position, and only after that hits the "Save" button below!

Note though that some themes only support a single sidebar (but the one you mentioned is truly 3-column :) )

Best regards,
Garvin

I feel that if I were in a greek play, the chorus behind me would repeat repititiously, 'You Are An Idiot!'...

Thanks...

Hee, hee. I mean, he's not an idiot or anything; that checkbox thing isn't intuitive. BUT the audio link IS funny.
