There is someone hosting with (MT) Media Temple?

I found this incredible site and trying to install Serendipity as my blog.
The problem is about the MySQL database. I asked to my provider they told me: Our Shared Server line does not allow for external mysql connections.
I have a PHPmyAdmin tool in my hosting service but i can’t log in too.
Any advice will be apreciated

Because Serendipity definitely needs to connect to a MySQL server.

Sadly I don't know MediaTemple...

But you could get a free serendipity blog on www.supersized.org! Or many other providers offer mysql databases without a problem...
