This upgrade is not working for me. Now that I have installed it everyone has access to all my directories. index.php used to be the default file, but for whatever reason it doesn't go to that anymore after I uploaded all the files.
What am I missing??

Could you describe your problem more in depth? What exactly is not working? What's your URL?
What does your .htaccess file currently look like?
How did you exactly perform the ugprade steps?
