config file

Post by s9000 »

Hi,

I moved my installation of s9y on another server, all files.
Imported the DB into the new server DB.
But, it says.... s9y isnt installed, I guess I have to reconfig the DB access
with new server name, pass and user
but where is the file to make this configuration ?

Thanks,

Hi!

If s9y thinks it isn't iinstalled, you didn't copy the "serendipity_config_local.inc.php" file from your old installation. Look at the FAQ on www.s9y.org for some instructions on how to move a complete install, please.

Best regards,

Hi,

thats true, I couldnt move that file, this file is CHMOD 700 , cant copy, cant open, cant edit! I'm stuck, I will try to find, if I found a copy of this file in the s9y tarball as example to edit.

Hi s9000

you can use the fixperm script to sort the permissions on your config file. You find details here http://www.s9y.org/11.html#A20

Hi!

How about reading the FAQ as I mentioned, instead? :-)

Hi all,

I followed instruction, so now I end up with this error message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /usr/www/users/nyagerac/psi/blog/serendipity_plugin_api.php on line 373
