Bringing in content with RSS feed??

Post by Capt Mike »

Avast me Hardys,

I want to have news items scroll into my site, in the entries area.

So I will create a sticky post on the frount page. How can I bring in content their like that?

Can I bring in news(rss feed) in the side bars? can I have more than one side bar for news?

How do I do this? Will the Feed work automaticly? or will I have to do this manually.

I have created what i want here, but it is JAVA feed, and it is sort of wierd as it is repeating the links.

Any ideas??

May goal is a contstant feed, with only a few entries...

Me aching fingers......

Hi!

I think what you want to use the the "serendipity_event_aggregate" plugin. It can aggregate foreign RSS feeds into your blog.

For sidebars, the "serendipity_plugin_remoteentries" plugin can be used to syndicate foreign content.
