HTML 4.01 Transitional validation

Post by Andyman77 »

Hiya

on checking the HTML validation, on this link is 1 error, but repeated 45 times, so it looks as if it should be something simple to fix before Version 1 comes out?

I'm using 1 beta 3.

Hi!

You can fix that by fixing your index.tpl template and using <meta...> tags instead of <meta ... />.

The other errors refer to undeclared entities (use &lat instead of &lat) etc.

Serendipity focusses on XHTML compliance, and I would suggest you to set "Enforce XHTML compliance" in your s9y options to true, so that no internal s9y stuff should output any errors.

Best regards,
Garvin
