Hi!

Please specify what you mean by "subscription based Blog". What do you want to do exactly?

Hi!

Serendipity Authors can login to the usual Admin backend, where they are able to do/view what their privileges / authorgroup memberships allow. This can be the ability to create articles, view comments, create staticpages etc.

By using the "User Self-Registration" plugin, users can become members very easily.

Using the "Extended Properties of Entries" plugin you can specifiy that certain entries (or whole categories) can only be viewed by registered authors, who need to login first to see those entries.

If all your entries are contained in categories that are only readable to specific author groups, then without logging in a user will see nothing.

Reading your two sentences of input, I guess this is what you want.

Best regards,
Garvin
