Hi costa!

Wow, that is great news! Even though I know no polish at all, I am very glad to now have a translation thanks to you. I already committed it to 1.0 and 1.1 versions.

For 1.1 versions there already are some new constants to translate *gg*

I also put the additional plugins translations into Spartacus!

Best Regards,
Garvin

Excellent work Costa, and BTW, I think your work will be appreciated. I've noticed an increase on Polish visitors from my site, last month 11 unique Polish visits, so you're obviously not the only Pole using Serendipity.

thanks carl. sure i'm not :) - i had some emails about how to install polish support in serendipity and now i want to make a small polish community. i already grabbed a quite good graphician and webdeveloper, whom i'll kick to work to make some templates for serendipity. he's good but he's lazy even more than me. yes, i know, hard to believe but it is possible :). but i'll make him work for community...

now i have to work on some merketing related stuff - inform some sites about serendipity, make it slightly more popular. an option for wordpress. wp is very popular in poland, mostly because lackness of polish language in serendipity i think. now things are changing a little. good, let's make it more popular :)

Is there anything I can do to help, maybe include a Polish language post referring people to your new site?

If I send you an English language file that includes all the phrases I use in my templates, would you be able to translate these so my templates would all ship with native Polish support. Phrases like, 'no comments yet, be the first', and others. At the moment I'm supporting English, German and Portuguese. But I'd love to offer Polish as well.

easy carl, i'll just translate some of your tutorials and other serendipity related articles to polish. you wanted some translations and as i can see, you have some translations already. oh no, they just HAVE to be translated :). i think this will be the most logical way i can support your work.

just to inform: some more plugins translated into polish. if you, developers, think that some other, popular plugins are needed to be translated - just tell me. i'll do my best.

file with all translations could be found here
some info (in polish) and list of translated plugins also could be found here

all tested, used, working just fine :). i would be glad to translate some new plugins (lightbox and so on) but i can not find any lang.inc files. as soon as they become available - they will be translated for sure. just love those new plugins! html meta-tag is something veeery useful!

keep up the good work people. btw carl, if you find a solution for miltilangual templates - drop an info please. and send me your templates to translate of course :)
