either nobody wants the feature, or i'm too blind finding discussion about it. but it'd be nice to use bbc in entries. the reason i want it is because i want to make a spoiler tag, very useful if your blog is about movies. any help on this? thanks

Do you by any chance mean "BBCode"? There is an Event plugin "Markup: BBCode" you can install...
