DIRECTORY_NON_EXISTANT

Post by YaKnowGuy »

- DIRECTORY_NON_EXISTANT
Directory /www.sharedmemories.info/blog/archives does not exist and could not be created. Please manually create the directory
-> run mkdir /www.sharedmemories.info/blog/archives
-> run chmod go+rwx /www.sharedmemories.info/blog/archives

Hi all,

I created the Directory as above and gave 777 to it. Still same message.
Am I missing something simple here??

Thanks,
Greg

It seems to me that you entered a wrong path in the installation? Or is /www.xxx really in the top level structure of your serveR? Usually this would be /var/www/www.xxx or something similar. Usually you can use the defaults Serendipity shows you for all the path settings...
