Marc, does the forum work if you change theme? I'm afraid I have never used the forum so its possible the theme might need something else. Could you or anybody else tell me if I'm doing something wrong with my themes. I really want to produce top quality themes not broken themes. Carl

hmm ok I made some tests. it looks very different depending on what theme you use. sorry this seems to have nothing to do with andreas08. it looks fine with e.g. kubrik. looks like I always used this with templates that make it look better.

Some screenshots:

Carl Blue
Kubrik
s9y v.2.3

hmm too bad. sorry for the alert!

and there seems to be no way to start a new thread in any of these themes!

phew, thats a relief, but it does demonstrate that I need to do more to make my themes work with different plugins, only problem is there are so many of them and they change so often where do I draw the line. It would be interesting to find out what the most popular plugins are so that designers could ensure their themes work with the top 10 or 15 plugins.

If I can help out in any other way please let me know, I'm really looking forward to seeing how your umppa website looks when its finished 'coz you're really using Serendipity as a portal website there, not just a blog.
