I have two installations of Serendipity. Both have the Karma plugin set to record hit counts.
On one machine, it works perfectly.
On the other, it does nothing at all. No entries in the karma table are ever updated or created.
The plugin is enabled (verified through the postgresql monitor). The hit counting is also enabled in the config screen. I can't figure out what the problem is.
Any ideas?

Re: s9y hit tracking broken
You reported this on the SF.Net bugtracker and tracked it down to the PAT_COMMENTSUB pattern when your permalink does only contain "posts/%id%.html" instead of "posts/%id%-....html".
This issue needs investigation. But please try to avoid crossposting and either choose the forums or the SF.Net bugtracker for your issue. Else it creates a lot of maintenance overhead for poor myself.
Best regards,
Garvin

Sorry about that Garvin. I posted here before I figured out what the problem was. Then I forgot I had posted here. Sigh.
