static pages, geeting rid of "previous" and "

is there a "straight" way to do it?
i have no drivers licence for code, i need instructions... sorry if this was asked before, but "search" did not get me the answer.

you can disable those in the plugin menu when you click on the static page plugin.

1) go to the admin menu.
2) select "configure plugins"
3) click the "static pages" link
4) set "show navigation" to "no"
5) set "Show headline or Prev/Next on navigation" to headline

thats it. takes about 10 seconds

10 seconds.. but no pervious/next choice yet

took only 8 seconds-
after i click "no" on show navigation no option 5) appears! otherwise i would have noticed... i really have been up and down the menus...
so why could that option be missing?
thanks - at least i know i've been around the right area looking for an answer, and i am hopful we'll find why it isn't working...

Renata, I replied to your comment on my blog, and have sent you an email about your dance blog.

As for the static page links, another option is to edit the static pages .tpl template files and remove the links. I don't think it is going to matter much on this particular blog. To do so, find the .tpl files in the static pages plugin folder, copy them into your chosen theme, then open and edit.

yeaahh- it is starting to work.
i think my friend's site updated slowly..
