Just a real Beginner's Question

Post by dadepfan »

Hi Everyone, forgive me if this has been asked before, and I know it is pretty basic.

I've installed Serendipity on a Linux server at home (running Apache and MySQL). Installation was a breeze, and everything seems to be working. So, here is my simple question:

My site is called "Boomer Blog,' and the address is http://www.boomer-blog.com/ So, when other users come to my site, can they actually set up their own blogs, or just add entries to the catagories I've created? I was hoping to have a site where baby boomers could come and have their own blogs.

Thanks in advance.

Having their own blogs is not so easily possible.

But you can add the plugin "Self-Registration for users". Then a user can create himself an author account and then create entries on the blog. You can also create categories for each user to assign them to that.
