Multi lingual categories?

Hi all,

I'm keen to add multilingual categories to my blog, I've already got german category names in a multilingual html nugget, but this is awkward to manage, and also means that German speakers see the list of categories twice. Is there any way that the existing categories plugin could be extended to include other languages. Just a thought, not urgent, but it would be really nice.

This would be possible, but it would touch tons of core code. It's about a full week's worth of coding effort, so you shouldn't hold your breath for that.

But I agree - this would be a terrific thing to have.
