Two more wishes

Post by Nicola »

Hi!

I added two more wishes on sourceforge:
1) I have recurring entry types with special "styles". I'd love to find entry-templates, so I could choose the 'right' template wich provides me with the icons/tables/styles I need for these special entrys.

2) There are pictures used as icons (again and again and again) and pic, used only once for a special entry. When trying to include an pic, the latter are provided on the top of the media-list, as they have been uploaded recently, the first are provided somewhere down the (loooooooong) list.
I'd love to find frequently used media files listet in a special row (or so) on top of the media list, so that it's easy and fast to include them into entrys. Just have a special part where the files "most often used" are offered on top of the media-form...

Btw: Great work yo do! I DID mention this before, did I? ;-)

Greetings
Nicola

I like the frequent images idea. I don't have time to implement it right now, but it's a great idea. Of course, if you knew you'd be using them regularly, you could create a separate directory for them, and then filter that directory in the image selector.

I thought we already had a template plugin. Sure, it's an event plugin called "Markup: Include entry data/templates/blocks" in Spartacus. Give it a try; you can add a title, body, and extended body boilerplate, then reuse it over and over like a template.

Please try not to post feature request on both the forums or SourceForge. Decide to use only one of them, please. It is much maintenance overhead, if I need to reply to both.
