event mailer not working
I'm having a problem getting s9y to email me when a new comment is posted to my threads. I've turned on the option, but no email. When some one subscribes to a thread that works fine, so I know that the mail is working. Am I missing something or is this a bug in my install?

Re: event mailer not working
For that to work you need to:
- Set up the right email to use in your Personal Configuration
- Also activate the "notify" option in your Personal Configuration
- Setup the right "Blog's mail address" within the Serendipity Configuration
- Write a new entry, save it.
- Post a comment, and you should get a notification via email...
It is necessary that the entry's owner is your personal user, and that your personal user account has a proper e-mail address.
Best regards,
garvin

The Blog's mail address is only existent in serendipity 0.9.1 and larger. Before, it used the mail address of the first admin user in the user database, which sometimes imposed problems.
