WYSIWYG line spacing problem

I saw in this thread that it said no one was continuing work on the WYSIWYG editor.

Is this still the case?

It does not take hard returns unless they are entered in the text mode.

UPDATE:

Actually it looks like it was a problem when I was using the Serendipity 2.3 theme. It appears to work fine in Blue which I have switched to now.
