contactform: error while posting the message

Greetings all:

I've recently upgraded to 1.0 alpha. The Contact Form seems to set up all right but I get "An error occurred while posting the message."

Thoughts?

I am stuck.

The error message you're getting does not come from Serendipity itself, it's most likely that your webserver has a hickup. You should contact your system administrator so that he (or you) can have a look at the Error logfiles. What is the exact URL where you get that error message? A screenshot might help.

For recent Serendipity versions, it's important to set the "Blog's E-Mail address" in the serendipity configuration to an email address that is valid on your Webserver. Some webservers silently fail when you specify invalid E-Mail addresses.
