Right now I can't edit, change permissions on, or do anything else with any of the files under /templates and /plugins. Since all my other files are fine, I'm thinking this is something to do with Spartacus and how it interacts with my host. I've been unable to upgrade any plugins lately, because Spartacus can't seem to overwrite the files - it gives me permission errors.
But it's just since I installed the latest Spartacus that I can no longer do anything with ANY of these files, except ones I had previously changed before that upgrade.
I've contacted the host to see if they can reset permissions on all those files - they did that once before, and it was fine for a while.
I don't know if this is a Spartacus issue, an issue with my host, or a combination of the two. Just thought I'd bring it up in case others are seeing it.
Permission settings made funky?

Also pay attention that you can fix the file permissions things by configuring the spartacus plugin and telling it the permissions/chown author so that spartacus can adjust the permissions!
And you can create a simple fixperm.php script to fix current permissions, which is answered in our FAQ.
Best regards,
Garvin
