On an existing webpage

Post by FFEMTcJ »

I already have my website up and running, and I wanted to know if there was a tag or a way to insert it into an existing page that has a place built in for the blog already.

You might want to have a look at the "wrapurl" event plugin from the spartacus repository. It allows you to embed an existing page in the serendipity layout.

The other way you can go is to copy+paste the HTML code into a static page via the "Static page" plugin...

Here's what: Try to imagine, you were me. Think you just read the posting "Giving me a bunch of errors". What do you think is the next question I will ask you? :-)

Oh, you were looking at our Wiki on www.s9y.org. You should've mentioned that.

You don't need our webpage, you can look at the plugins within your Serendipity installation, after you've installed the (bundled) SPARTACUS plugin!

Regards,
Garvin

Just go to your Admin page and choose "Configure Plugins". Then install SPARATACUS. You'll automatically get access to all the official Serendipity plugins from the Configure Plugins page. Just click the link for "Click here to install a new event plugin" and look for the ones Garvin mentioned.
