spartacus updating

i'm curious how spartacus handles upgrading previously installed plugins.

I've been waiting for the new version of the user profiles plugin to show up in spartacus, but just found that it only did when i actually went and deleted the serendipity_event_user_profile directory manually. I didn't even currently have the plugin 'installed', the directory was just sitting around unused since the last time I had it installed.

Is spartacus supposed to do this for you?

Spartacus is supposed to do this for you. In serendipity 0.9 there was a bug though, which was fixed in Serendipity 0.9.1, and there upgrades should appear properly.
