problem with language

Hi. I have a problem with italian language. It shows a little square instead of " ì " in the date of post, may someone help me please and tell me wich is the file i need to modify? thank you all.

That can be a problem if your server does not use a UTF-8 locale for the "it" locale. Can you talk to your provider and ask him what the UTF-8 locale for your language "it" is? Then you can edit your /lang/serendipity_lang_it.inc.php file and change the LOCALES constant at top of the file to this propper locale. You can also then tell me your locale and I'll patch it up for default installation.
