I can not create groups after upgrading to 0.9

I've done my upgrade to 0.9 and I'm not able to create a group.
I've got the message telling me that a new group has been created but when I get back to the group administration, no group is created

How exactly did you perform the upgrade? It seems that your usermanagement system was not properly upgraded.

With which userlevel are you logging in, and from which s9y version did you upgrade?
