Request for plugin

I would love to see a BIRTHDAY plugin in the following manner:

1. A simple database with names, birthday, etc
2. A sidebar congratulating people when it is their birthday.
3. An automatic entry in s9y writing som text stored in the db for each birthday, when relevent.
4. Send an e-mail to the person who has the birthday.

Anyone up to the task?

I agree that would be a very nice plugin indeed!
And simple, too.... (if only I knew how to make these plugins!)...

Even though such a plugin wouldn't be hard to code, it is some grunt work to do *g*

Would you publish the entries on the birthday with identical content every year then?

In the end, the plugin is a bit like the mycalendar-plugin with some posting differences..anyone like to get involved? I can give help for coding the plugin of course

I could probably help a bit, but don't have much time right now. I am working on the Gallery2 project to make a theme that will work with my blog.
