Something strange is happening , The content frame size seems to be forced to a resolution in the main page and if you click on an article you can resize the content frame.
I'm using a modofoed mt-trendy file but I've only changes some background colors, nothing else .

Hm, I can't reproduce that. Can you make a screenshot? And which Browser are you using?

Css bugg ??
Still the same, can you tell where the content frame size and resizing property is located in the css ?
Using the mt-trend, must I change some settings in the default and/or default-rtl css inside these folders ??

It's just a HTML error in your first entry 
Look at the source, you'll find:
You are missing the closing </a> tag 
Now I understand what you meant, those were just horizontal scrolling bars, this has nothing to do with iframes

I've changed the Entries to display on frontpage to 4, clean my cache and now all is working pretty good ...
think some css caching browser problems have occur ...
