can't see event plugins

Post by axaxl »

Hi,

I am really satisfied with s9y, easy install, highly customizable... I only have one problem:

if I click on install side bar plugin, it gives a list of plugins (even new ones)

if I click on install event plugin, the list is empty. Why? I don't know...

Hope that someone knows the answer!

You did not mention which Serendipity Version you are using. So I think you are using 0.8.5 and have the Spartacus Plugin enabled. Sadly we had so many problems, that the 0.8 spartacus plugin ran out of memory pretty soon.

In version 0.9-beta2 we have changed memory management, so that it will work again.

So your options are:

1. Raise the memory limit of your PHP. Talk to your sysadmin on how to do that; 12-16MB should be set at least.

2. Upgrade to Serendipity 0.9-beta2

3. Uninstall the spartacus plugin and fetch plugins manually.

Best regards,
Garvin

Hi,

the version i'm using is 8.5, i'm now trying to upgrade to the beta.

The php memory is 8 mb and cannot be changed :(

So, all my hopes are on the beta (since i never saw the spartacus plugin....)

Dale, it seems that you didn't increase the limit high enough. Where did you set it, and to what value did you set which setting? You did restart your apache server, right? Otherwise the new limit will not be applied.

Spartacus is the Online Plugin Repository which allows you to install plugins dynamically over the web.

Garvin
