It works here properly. What's your exact problem?

Tested with:
http://www.thegrindstone.net/serendipit ... index.rss2
http://www.thegrindstone.net/serendipit ... eneral.rss

RSS Feeds not working after .9 upgrade

Thanks for the quick reply.

The Sidebar plugin shows nothing on my site. This changed after the upgrade.

The RSS feeds I set up on my admin page do work however...

Hm, can you check your sidebar plugin configuration, and see which plugins are installed there? It just seems you don'T have the syndication plugin installed, or set the plugin to "hidden"

But you do see the RSS category feeds on the left side, right?!

Garvin

Sidebar Plugins installed are:

Calendar
Categories (yes the feeds work there)
Blog Admin
Powered By
RSS Feed "The Onion Daily News"
HTML Nugget
Syndicate This Blog

None are set to Hidden.

Hm, it might be that the one RSS feed was/is making trouble. Or did you maybe install the sidebarhider event plugin?

Sadly your site seems to not be online at this moment so I can't check the output for that?!

Hi !

I am having the same problem. I upgraded to 0.9 beta 2 from 0.8.3 and all my RSS feeds are not showing. For clarity, I am referring to the sidebar plugins, not the RSS feeds being published from my blog.

Eg. http://www.christopher-chan.com/blog/index.php

If you look at the sidebar on the right, just below where the thumbnail photos end. The various RSS feeds are not displaying whereas they were working perfectly in 0.8.3.

The sidebar plugin that I'm using is "Show items of a remote RSS/OPML feed (e.g. Blogroll)".

Any advice is greatly appreciated !

Chris,

sadly an error slipped into the remoteRSS plugin in beta2. It is fixed in current SVN snapshots, the URL detection routine was wrong. So please upgrade at least the plugin to the latest file.

Sorry for that!

Best regards,
Garvin
