Static Pages

Post by davidcrickett »

I have the latest and greatest Serendipity 0.9 beta 2 and I have read somewhere (http://www.s9y.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3050), that Static Pages was updated - says Falk - but my static pages is still an older version - the promised version is 3 or...?

Version 3 is committed and available in CVS for some time. Go to your configure plugins panel, click on the "click here to install event plugin" link and you should see the new version 3 with a red icon, if you've enabled the spartacus plugin.

Best regards,

It says: "Already installed". That was my main question: Do I have to uninstall to update this plugin?
Update: I uninstalled and it worked.

No, you can usually just upgrade, when it say which is the updated version of the plugin.

0.9-beta1 did not properly display updated versions, but beta2 should show them.

You may want to empty (not drop!) your "serendipity_pluginlist" table and try again to update. You may also want to try going to the spartacus configuration screen and just hit "save" to purge your XML cache files and instruct spartacus to reload the XML versionion files

Best regards,
Garvin
