version 0.84
a)
I installed the HTML Nugget on Page Event Plugins with these:
- Title: Intro Page
- Nugget Placement: Top of the content
- Choose language: ALL languages
- Content (textarea): This will be the introductory text to my blog
- Perform markup transformations: Yes
- Where should the item be displayed?: All times
I hit Save and all looks nice. The text This will be the introductory text to my blog appeared at the top of my blog, as expected.
b) I want an 'About Me' link on the sidebar. I want to do this with
- the HTML Nugget sidebar plugin and
- the Static Pages event plugin
Those were installed. I click on Static Pages and did this
- Headline field: About me
- Permalink: /pages/aboutme.html
- URL shorthand name (Backwards compatibility): aboutme
- Content: My name is Roger Thomas
- Perform Markup Transformations: Yes
- Format as article? : Yes
- Page title in "Format as article" mode: Roger's Blog
- Author's Name : roger
- Parentpage: is parent
- Show childpages : No
- Pre-content: blank
- Password: blank
- Template (Smarty) : plugin_staticpage.tpl
- Make this page the frontpage of Serendipity : No
I clicked on HTML Nugget (Holds a nugget of HTML in your sidebar) and did this:
- Title : blank
- textarea field: <a href="http://my_blog_url/pages/aboutme.html>About</a>
(/pages/aboutme.html was taken from Permalink of Static Pages)
- Perform Markup Transformations: Yes
- Where should the item be displayed?: All times
QUESTION: Why does the 'this is a nugget' text from the HTML Nugget plugin appeared below the 'About me', ie when I clicked on 'About me', i will get
About me
My name is Roger Thomas
this is a nugget

Re: Too many nuggets
Do you have a URL to show your blog? I think in either one of your nuggets or within one of your staticpages you have the text "this is a nugget" left. So please go to the list of plugins and configure each nugget plugin to look out for that, and look in your staticpages as well...
