Theme Selection not functional

Post by Gnillleps »

Hi there!
I just upgraded to .8.4 and after discoveringing the Mozollia theme is outdated for this version, I selected a new default. I have the plug in to allow users to select the them they want. When one selects any of the themes there, the default is always returned. I check as many posts as I could find, checked cached settings, looked for a seridipty.css in the root and the such, all to no avail. Any suggestions? www.gnilleps.com/blog

It seems that your server does not propperly support PHP sessions? The plugin should set a session value, but it seems to not get saved on the server URL.

Also check you have two plugins in your s9y admin panel : A templatechhooser event plugin and a sidebar plugin...

Hmmmm, That is ood, it worked in my .7.x version... My hosting company is running Version of PHP: 4.3.3

Is there a method for returning to a .7.x version? Thanks for any info.

Did you check if both sidebar AND event plugin are existing?

A change back to 0.7 is NOT recommended or possible. I am sure we can get close to the problem and fix it.

The easiest way for me to help you to debug this is to get FTP data to your host - if you want to do that, please contact me privately.
