Modifying in admoinistration

I'd like to modify the input-field of the trackbacks when writing a statement. It's a bit short for me.
I tried to find the file where to handle ist but I failed. The template-system is still a little bit complex for me. So could someone tell me where I find the position or has got a hint for me like a chart how the templates interact?

Please excuse my bad english, the last time I wrote something in english was about 10 years ago.
