Is there a plugin that allows users to click on the contributor's name and see their bio and all their postings to the blog? B*(gger has that and I like that feature.
Please tell me there's a way to do this already.
Thanks!

Re: Contributors Plugin
Yes. First off, Serendipity shows all posts by author if you click on the username.
If you install the serendipity_event_userprofiles plugin from our additional plugins repository (or via spartacus) you can get additional info for a user.

Garvin

contributors list
does that extra plugin "serendipity_event_userprofiles display a list of all the contributors in a fixed place and allow the user to click on a name and view more info and all of their postings?
we're not loooking for the option to just click on the contributor's name on a post but as a listing on the whole blog.

contributors name
Ok, I don't see how this works. I went to the s9y blog and tried to click on the contributors name and they're not clickable. http://blog.s9y.org/
Are we talking about two different thing? How do you click the contrib's name and where? What screen?
thanks.

Re: contributors name
The contributors are regarded as "authors". There is a plugin that shows a list of all authors in the sidebar, which will give you the functionality you need.
If and how contributor names are clickable depends on the used template and if that plugin is installed. Our blog.s9y.org does not use that!
Look at http://planet.koehntopp.de/ and click on the author names ("Geschrieben von XXX" means "Posted by" in english). Then you see all postings from an author ("contributor"). If the owner of that blog had installed the userprofiles plugin, he would see additional info. Best thing is you try this in your own blog in the default template.

Re: authors plugin
In our additional_plugins CVS repository.
Either via CVS on sourceforge, checkout the module "additional_plugins". Or use ViewCVS: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/p ... l_plugins/
Or, the easiest way, use the Spartacus plugin which will show it then to you.
