RSS-Plugin/Comment Counter/Time Zone

Post by danst0 »

Hi folks,

I really love Serendipity!
Although it isn't bug free;-)
So for me the following ones are the most annoying:

The comment counters on the main page aren't working anymore!help please!

Is it possible to include a time zone selection in the configuration menu?
Not only that all the posting-times are gmt (and I am on German time) now but also if I am posting an article (not changing the given time) it lasts two hours (because of the wrong time) until my article apears on my page...

the third and least important bug is that the rss-plugin takes (at least for me) the wrong dates out of the rss stream.
I am using it with phpbb but the plugin is posting the generation date (when the feed was updated last time) and not the date of the posts...

Is someone already working on these bugs?

Thank you very much for your help!

Daniel

Comment Counter

Oh I have seen that the counter is working now... but only for new posts older comments are not counted.
is there a way to make serendipity count them, too?

I didnt change anything. I just upgraded my cvs...
Because at one older (0.6.x) cvs it stopped counting (reseted the couter to zero) and now it counts again (only for new posted comments) and the old comments arent counted... so there are articles with comment (0) but comments inside.
for example:
http://blog.danst0.com/ scroll down to an article called "neue kamera" then click "kommentare (0)"

Thanks,

Daniel
