Question concerning dates

Hello!

I have set up S9Y on www.crparr.net in german. But the date of the entries are in the following format:

Sunday, 17. July 2005

Is it possible to post the date in the following format:

Sonntag, 17. Juli 2005

Also above the calendar one can read July '05. Can this be changed to Juli '05 ?

Please contact your system administrator of the webserver and kindly ask him to install the "de_DE@ISO-8859-1" or "german" locale on his server.

The date formatting is done with what is called "Locale system". Search google or this forum for "locales" and you should get some hits.

Where should this changes have to be done?
In php.ini, httpd.conf or system wide?

Locales are installed system wide.
