top referer: how to block special hosts

i dont want to show refereres like google or yahoo.
at config-Appearance and Options-Blocked Referers i entered "google" but all the googles still show up. also entering "google.com;google.it" doesnt work.

does this filter stops counting these referers or does it hide these refereres?

Entering those hosts only stopps adding them, and not hide the existing entries.

Thus you'd need to erase those referers from the serendipity_referers table first and then no more entries will get added.
