Plugins - need better error recovery

Post by gwilsonmail »

When a plugin fails to be listed, all subsequent plugins are prevented from being listed.

It's possible to work around this if you have server access, but not if you are dependent on the web interface and the kindness of strangers within the forum.

The routine that lists plugins should list the error and simply go to the next plugin if the current plugin fails to load.

Can you try this on our latest 0.9 version? The plugin handling has been changed in many parts and should also affect this handling...

Hi Garvin,

I'd love to test 0.9. But I tried the svn thing and I was getting no where fast. If you'd like to email it to me I'll try it out.

Bring back those nightly builds!!!!!

Maybe you can try http://www.netmirror.org/mirror/serendi ... 050722.tgz which is a mostly recent snapshot regarding this functionality?

I will talk to Jannis and ask him again to please bring back the snapshots :)

Garvin
