Pinning a Blog

Is there a way to "Pin" a Blog to the top of the page so that it shows up first?

For themes that support it, you can mark a post as "sticky" and it will appear before all other posts. I believe this requires the extended properties for entries plugin, but this plugin is typically installed by default.
