amending content of published blogs

Post by jsb »

What is the suggested way to amend the content of a blog that has already been published? If the content of an exisiting blog is amended and then published again, will this create a new blog, or will the original one be retained with the changes?

If by "blog" you mean an entry (or article), then no, editing an existing entry will not create a new entry unless you explicity create a new entry (which would be rather cumbersome).

You have the option to set the publication date to the date of your latest changes in s9y, but I guess most people leave their entries at the original pub date, but mark their changes by something like "EDIT: [new content]". There are also the <del> and <ins> HTML elements available to mark changes.
