[serendipity_plugin_showentries] frontpage-option error?

I have installed serendipity_plugin_showentries to show entries of a special category (in my case entries with only a picture in it), so far so good and with settings

Code: Select all

Show how many entries: 2
Hide entries already displayed on frontpage?: No

there are really 2 pictures in sidebar, but if i set

Hide entries already displayed on frontpage?: Yes

no entry is shown anymore, even if only one of the picture-entries is on frontpage.

Is this a bug or do i missunderstand something?

Hi!

When you pick a category, the "frontpage" actually means "frontpage of that category". There currently is no option to block entries only on the general frontpage once you select a category restriction.

I tried to get something like serendipity_plugin_flickr and serendipity_plugin_imagesidebar doesn't allow to set a special folder of media library
