When trying to open a customer's website there is this message:
serendipity error: could not include /home/id3937/domains/persia-memari.nl/public_html//serendipity_config_local.inc.php - exiting.
Please create the file yourself or check permissions
Could anyone explain what this means?
I know this customer has been adding photos to his site. Perhaps he has crossed some capacity limit?

It means what it says. The file does either not exist or is not writable (0755) by permission. It is the file containing the database access data. The doubled slash should not really harm...
Yes, but the odd thing is that nothing has changed for months except that the website owner has added photo's to his site. He has been posting photo's every now and then since november 2010. There has never been a problem.
Where does this error all of a sudden come from? Any idea what could have changed?
My magic ball is out of order... but why do you/he does does not check the existance or permission of that file, before asking what might have issued it?
