So I had installed S9y for my wife's blog; and then a few days ago; she tells me that none of the links work. So I check, and they all point to the /archive directory, but when I take a look in the directory, there are only .pdf files! No htmls. WTF??
So basically, when a new post comes up, I'm assuming the old one is getting archived as a .pdf by s9y??
WHY???
How do I get the blog back?????????????????
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Help! Blog Disappeared!
Hi!
s9y generates blog entries dynamically. /archives is a virtual directory that does not contain static files for blog entries.
Supposedly you changed the URL rewriting method of your blog. You might want to check your s9y configuration and set URL Rewriting to "None" and see if your articles then reappear.

Re: Help! Blog Disappeared!
Hi Garvin,
So checking; my .htaccess got hacked; got replaced with code that redirects to some porn site. So question, how do I "regenerate" a new .htaccess?
I don't think I have a backup, or at least I couldn't find one..
Thanks.
Albert

Hi!
You can go to the s9y configuration, and for example set your directory index file to "index2.php", save the config, and then go to the config again and set it back to "index.php". This will force .htaccess recreation.
However, make sure to change your FTP account details, since this should be the way how people hacked the .htaccess...
