Email Entry after Published?

I have serendipity php setup as a blog/log solution. Is there an easy way to have serendipity email each entry post after it has been published. I have searched the knowledge base, and while I have seen related post, I have not found a solution.

Hi!

Yes, the serendipity_event_mailer ("Send entries via E-Mail") plugin that ships with Serendipity can be used to do exactly that.

Your suggestion worked. I noticed that I recieve emails for all "New" Entry post. However, I do NOT receive emails for existing Entries that have been modified. Is this behavior possible?

Hi!

True, that is not the scope of the plugin. You can set the entry to draft and then to publish again to force re-sending mails.
