You may or may not be aware of the fact that S9y now has a (German only, sorry) podcast called S9y InfoCamp, hosted by Robert Lender and me. Last night, I relaunched the podcast blog. The template has been "work in progress" due to the fact that this project was launched more or less overnight, I simply didn't have the time to do it properly before.
It's based on the HTML5 Boilerplate, uses a lot of CSS3 goodness, web fonts, media queries to adapt a flexible layout to various screen resolution etc. In short, it is a preview of what's possible with S9y using fresh, modern web techniques. (Well, at least I hope it is.)
Okay, enough with the self-praise. Feedback will be much appreciated.

Re: S9y InfoCamp
Hi!
I really like the reducedness of it, but I must say the bold font is quite unreadable on my OSX:

The only other thing, but that's relevant to personal taste I guess, is that it looks really, really monochromish depressive. Maybe one background color other than grey would've been nice?
I haven't looked under the hood yet, but I bet it's awesome
Regards,
Garvin

That's odd. That was not the case before? Since I can't test OSX myself, could you maybe get me a fullscreen screenshot, preferable in at least 1280x1028 px?garvinhicking wrote:I really like the reducedness of it, but I must say the bold font is quite unreadable on my OSX:
I've been thinking about that as well, mostly contemplating a more "flamboyant" color for links. It's definitely something to think about.garvinhicking wrote:The only other thing, but that's relevant to personal taste I guess, is that it looks really, really monochromish depressive. Hi!
I had not check this earlier on my main PC, only on the notebook where the DPI is different.

Re: S9y InfoCamp
Hm. Judging from the screenshot and factoring in the JPG compression, it seems to affect only the bold weight. I have a few ideas and an OSX guinea pig in Robert, so I'll see what I can do about it.
