Adding serendipity to external page

Hello all!

Hope someone can help me.

I am trying to add 3-4 headlines ONLY to the homepage of a site. The homepage and many other pages are not within serendipity, because the blog was only added at a later stage and the site uses complex database driven navigation.

I did have a look at the installation guide and in the forum, but could not find the complete answer.

There is an event plugin titled "Show entries via JavaScript" (serendipity_event_backend) that will probably do what you want.
