audio player in msg as apposed to link to audo file

Post by WQGJ-587 »

I use Popfetcher plugin to get and post emails which have a small test msg and a .wav file attached to them.

The entry is then auto published by the plugin, works like a charm.

My question is, with the Published post it'self.

It shows the Text msg. and has a link to click on for the .wav file.
When one clicks on the link, it opens a new window with a player in the center screen that plays the .wav file.
such as
http://www.alerts.cc-net.org
What I would like is to get it to show the player right in the Post itself in the place of the link. or with the link so they dont have to load a new blank page.

Any Ideals.?

Thanks in advance.
Tom

UPDATE
Here is exactly an example of what i'd like it to do.

Hi!

If you install the "podcast" plugin, this one automatically parses links to Audio/video files and embeds a player into the post.

Hmm,
Installed,

but now, there still is no player, and the link for the file click is also gone.
there is just wide space where the link was before i installed the podcast plug.

is it browser picky? is there a catch to it somewhere?

thanks again
Tom

removed the " Easy Podcast Plugin" and re-installed it.

now it seems to be working ok.

Thanks again for everything.
